Welcome, great photos. (It is nice to be working, heh?)

Thanks. Yeah, I'm pretty good with work. I freelance part time and being close to NYC gives me pretty regular work.

I have a Canon EOS 40D and use a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS as my primary lens.
I'm hoping to get a Canon 5D by February, but we'll see!

Very nice! #2 baby is precious! Group photo is great....love the expression of child. Have you thought of cropping it a little bit? I think you could do it a little bit all around and show their sweet faces a little better. Good work and keep posting.

Thank you. I have cropped it, but you lose the great sky. I gave it to the parent both ways.

Sometimes you simply have to get off the beaten path, tromp through the briers, wade across streams, climb over old fences, trudge up ragged ridges, slide down slippery slopes, pause to look around, and be amazed at the simple things that will fill your viewfinder.

I wish there was a LIKE button.
Awesome shots.
You have a great ability to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.

You comments are greatly appreciated as well.

I love Sherman Lake, New York.

My family has been holding a family reunion for over 30 years and this lake has been a life long favorite photographic subject.
Weather, Season and time of day all dramatically affect the look of the lake, as well as the surrounding area.

I know that for as long as I continue visiting Sherman, I will always get Great new photos!

I keep two cameras in my case in my truck as I have too often heard the phrase,

''Ohhh I should have brought my camera''

One has a 17-85 mm and the other a 70-300 mm. (I hate changing lenses in a rush)

I think this is very cute! It has a carefree feel to it.

Carefree is exactly the word I would use to describe the photo!

Looks good except I would have liked to seen you holding a reflector on her left side to throw a little light onto the left side of her face. Nice portrait though !

I think if she has just moved her hand lower, the sun would have given the effect . The sun would have povided plenty of light to provide depth to the other side of her face.
Nice shot though!

here is one that does not have her hand on her cheek. This one I did have to do a crop on where the other one has no PP done to it. Thanks to all the suggestions they are great and this is a great place.

I like the sun on the side of her face.
Natural light is the best!
