This is a wonderful experience. The dogs are incredibly anxious to go to work but are so well trained they don't move a muscle until told to do so. Great pictures capturing some of the action.
Take a look at visitroanokeva.com, Light and Shadow (my moniker but not my work) to see the incredible Steamers Point layout with wonderful photography by Jimmy Deck to see a marvelous blending of art in railroad modeling (really a city scape with a railroad) and photography. Let me know what you think when you see it.
Well done. Love the shadows
Can you video film them??
Just curious as I hope to do some shooting in snow next month, what were your White Balance setting for these? Very well captured, BTW.
That tells a very nice story! Send them two 8X10s, one for the diner and one for the dog (well, his owner).
That is exactly what I hope to capture next year. What were your settings? Did you insulate your camera when you returned to your transport?
That is exactly what I hope to get. The photog's gloves are absolutely on the list, probably the camera parka, which would come in handy here in the foothills of Virginia for astro photography nights.
I have never heard of that but, boy, does that look interesting! Thank you! Love the hand warming feature.
Had not even thought of that. This little exercise confirms my belief in the generosity of photographers every where. Thank you, so much.
Several thoughts in there I have not considered. Thanks so very much! I really want to get some illumination of people with the aurora background, so that lighting is still open in my mind.
