Kit Lens, how can you possibly fault Romney for saying that no one has ever asked him where he was born, when Obama allows the ad to run that says Romney killed some man's wife. Also, Obama keeps on talking about Romney's dog who rode in a safely attached carrier on top of his car thirty some years ago, when Obama wrote that he ATE dog. I would much rather be Romney's dog than Obama's. Also, you liberals keep harping on "birthers". Well, why doesn't Obama just put it all to rest and release his records. Don't tell me that the latest attempt at his birth certificate is legal, because of lots of reasons, one of which is the fact that it said he was African American and it was typed on a computer. Blacks were not called African Americans in 1961 nor were there computers. Where are his college transcripts, his applications to schools, the papers he and his wife wrote in college, his real birth certificate, etc. etc. Could it be that he attended college as a foreign exchange student? How else could he have gotten into Harvard after having spent (by his own words in his book) lost in a haze of drugs in high school? My son, who graduated valedictorian from a large high school, won every math contest in the state, brought home 2 grocery bags full of awards from graduation, and who is now a neuroradiologist could not get into Harvard. How in heck did some drugged out Bozo get into Harvard? You liberals need to stop believing the mainstream media, do your own research with an open mind, and tell us why Obama does nothing to help our country. He stalls and blathers and obfuscates and never addresses the real problems our country faces. In my opinion, he wants us to be in the mess he has created for us and our children and grandchildren, who will never be able to pay off his debt. He throws billions of our tax dollars at his cronies who have failed businesses. Either he is as dumb as a post or he is as wily as a fox. In either case, he is destroying America for us and our progeny. If you people can't see that, you are deaf, dumb, and blind by choice.

Kinda makes you go hhmmmm - doesn't it !

IF we had real news media instead of liberal, biased news media, they would seek answers to these questions.

I don't believe that I have seen these questions before.

4 Simple Questions

1. Back in 1961 people of color were called 'Negroes.' So how can the
Obama 'birth certificate' state he is "African-American" when the term wasn't even used at that time ?

2. The birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama's birth
as August 4, 1961 & Lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father. No big deal,
right ? At the time of Obama's birth, it also shows that his father is aged
25 years old, and that Obama's father was born in " Kenya , East Africa ".
This wouldn't seem like anything of concern, except the fact that Kenya did not even exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama's birth, and 27 years after his father's birth. How could Obama's father have been born in a country that did not yet
exist ? Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the "British East Africa Protectorate".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya_ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya)

3. On the Birth Certificate released by the White House, the listed place
of birth is "Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital".
This cannot be, because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were called
"KauiKeolani Children's Hospital" and "Kapi'olani Maternity Home",
respectively. The name did not change to Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological
Hospital until 1978, when these two hospitals merged.

How can this particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961 if this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978 ?

Why hasn't this been discussed in the major media ?

4. Perhaps a clue comes from Obama’s book on his father. He states how proud
he is of his father fighting in WW II. I’m not a math genius, so I may
need some help from you. Barack Obama’s “birth certificate” says his father
was 25 years old in 1961 when he was born. That should have put his
father’s date of birth approximately 1936—if my math holds (Honest! I did
that without a calculator!!!) Now we need a non-revised history book—one that
hasn’t been altered to satisfy the author’s goals—to verify that WW II
was basically between 1939 and 1945. Just how many 3 year olds fight in
wars? Even in the latest stages of WW II his father wouldn’t have been more
than 9. Does that mean that Mr. Obama is a liar, or simply chooses to alter
the facts to satisfy his imagination or political purposes (still qualifies as a “liar”) ?

One day an old German shepherd starts chasing rabbits and before long, discovers that he's lost. Wandering about, he notices a panther heading rapidly in his direction with the intention of having lunch.

The old German Shepherd thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep trouble now!"

Noticing some bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the panther is about to leap, the old German Shepherd exclaims loudly,

"Boy, that was one delicious panther! I wonder, if there are any more around here?"

Hearing this, the young panther halts his attack in mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees.

"Whew!," says the panther, "That was close! That old German Shepherd nearly had me!"

Meanwhile, a squirrel who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the panther. So, off he goes.

The squirrel soon catches up with the panther, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the panther.

The young panther is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, squirrel, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!"

Now, the old German Shepherd sees the panther coming with the squirrel on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?," but instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old German Shepherd says....

"Where's that squirrel? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another panther!"

Moral of this story....

Don't mess with the old dogs... Age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery!
Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

Long rangse handgunning with open sights at steel plates. I was teaching a certified handgun course but I am in the process of going through a total knee replacement and the physical aspect is too demanding on it. I did have the opportunity to instruct members of the Connecticut Renegades, a mounted cowboy action group. It is kind of a spin off of SASS. They shoot at balloons from horseback using a corn cob media instead of bullets for the sake of safety to the audience. I took up photography because it looked like fun. I had a point and shoot for years but needed an up grade so I went with a Canon T3 to get my feet wet and decide if really wanted to get into it. In many aspects shooting and photography do have some similarities. Sight picture, hand hold, and trigger squeeze are paramount. It is very evident that many of you in this room are very dedicated to your hobby and this is not the place for a gun control debate but I would like to say that not all shooters are bad and not all photographers are child pornographers.

Would that be metallic silhouette shooting? I still have my XP-100 in 7-08 from those days.

In 2017, after four more years, you're going to look back at this statement and realize how foolish you sound, how mistaken you were and just how far astray your right-wing handlers have led you.

That's possible. I just don't want to find out you are wrong.

Lot different than the one's we have in Illinois, too. The ones we have we nickname "politicians" and the leader of them we call "governor". We put most of the governors in jail.

I wish we had your kind of lizards.

Tell that to the auto industry. Tell that to the banking industry. The feds gave money to one company - one - Solyndra, that later went belly up. I love how you turned one story into a sweeping condemnation. By the way, Romney did that with three companies in Massachusetts when he was governor. Some record.

With about a 2 min search, I have come up with 3 companies that Obama backed with government funds that have gone belly up after dishing out bonuses to the upper management---Solyndra, Ener1 and Beacon Power. Not only did they go belly-up, the gov allowed some private investors to re-coup their investment ahead of the gov. Totally against the law.
Yes, you are right that the feds LOANED money to Chrysler and GM. Chrysler has paid back the loans, and the feds are making money off the GM stock it now holds (GM has paid back about half the loan).

I'm sure I could find a few more "green" energy companies that Obama has backed that didn't make it.

I'm still looking for some one to give me 3 things that Obama can brag about.
Don't bring up getting out of Iraq, that date was set before W. left office.

Here's a question. Who was in charge when Lehhmans went down & brought the whole pack of cards down around the world a few years back. We even suffered here in Aussie. Now that wasn't very friendly. And poor ole Barak has been trying to sort out the mess ever since. Credit where it's due.

Lehman went down about a month before the 2008 election, due to shady bookkeeping and the sub-prime mortgages.
Alot of the mess we are in right now, was caused by the collapse of the sub-prime housing loans. Floating loans to people that couldn't afford them in the first place. Fanny May and Freddy Mac were pressured to give out the loans during the Clinton Admin. Bush2 tried to stop the sub-prime stuff, but the Democratic congress in power at the time wouldn't go along with it.
The path that has led us to this point was started a while back, with very little done to correct the problem over the years. It hasn't been just Bush2 or Obama.
I have other issues with Obama, some of which with you may or may not agree.
As far as Obama trying to fix it, his idea is to just throw billions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ at the problem. If he really had any idea of a way to fix it, he would have done it during his first two years in office when he had the entire congress on his side. Almost 3 years without a budget and counting. And the two he submitted were voted down 99 to 0. Now that's the way to lead.
