Hi, these are great shots I like night photography as well.just for my info what white balance setting did you use including fstop. Thanks tony
Hi , as suggested earlier set your f stop starting with f16 I am sure you will be happy with the results.test these ideas before you spend money on filters you don't need. Tony
Hi old salt these are a few shots I took at the lighthouse.
Hi, these are pictures of nubble lighthouse in Maine.i was there a month ago and took all daytime shots.if you would like to see them let me know.your shots were interesting. Tony
Hi ,I know there have been many suggestions but have you considered nikon 105mm macro.this lens may be expensive but highly rated.when you have a 105 vs the other types you don't have to get as close as you have to with the other lenses.this allows you not to scare off the subject and allows more light on the subject since you don't have to get as close but still get a real close up.if you consider the 105 nikon look at e bay sometime you can get a good deal. Good luck.
Great job wish I was there with you.tony
Hi , I also have a nikon d90 this is a nice camera and I am happy with it.keep shooting and we will all get better. Tony
I have many photos since then and I have sent several from the last few months.

Thanks for your comments.i agree the second shot looks like a winter post card.thanks tony
I went to boston a few nights ago when the temp.was in the 50s. The harbor was well lit up from the buildings and harbor lights.
I woke up to a bright snowy morning and decided to take a few shot.one shot was last evening before I retired.
