During this Coronavirus thing, what do you do if you are supposed to limit your social contacts? If you're like me you play on the computer and involve some friends.

I like it.

Cuba is famous for their colorful buildings, athletes, dance, Latin music. And last, old cars. A friend told me, it's amazing they can keep those old cars running, without manufactured/aftermarket parts. Very nice photos displayed

According to the New York Post, Tom Hanks, age 63, and his wife Rita, are still in Isolation in Australia. He is not in great condition, but OK. Rita's condition, I assume is better. Hank, was down there for a movie, where he is to portray Colonel Parker. The controversial manager of Elvis Presley. Praised and hated by many Elvis Fans.

Two Superman's died. The TV and movie versions. There was no Coronavirus back then. They supposedly were tougher than Tom Hanks. Superman rescued many. Including Lois Lane, kids, etc. Tom Hanks is no exception.

Olympus reported to be # 1 in mirrorless camera sales in Japan for the month of feb. I know, most could care less, but It is something of some interest.

That's interesting. I would have thought it would be Sony, since they manufacture both quality full frame and crop sensor cameras. Fuji shouldn't be far behind. They just unleashed a blockbuster in the X-T4. A new release camera, can result in a boost in Sales. However, Japanese demand is probably different than American demand.

Yesterday's dinner - St. Pattie's Day - "Corned Beef & Cabbage". I was able to buy a small Corned Beef in my food store for a good deal! The dinner above was tasty as can be . . .

I added 1/3c more of Pickling spices to the water in my 8L pressure cooker, not electric! Started cooking on high then lowering the temp low, total cooking time about two hours in my pressure cooker! Meat did not shrink that munch!

After cooling down, I removed the meat and placed it in a dish on the side. The water was very flavorful from the added pickling spices. The veggies were then added to the water except the cabbage. Two very large carrots, two medium potatoes, three celery stocks, chopped about two inches then added to the pot.

Once the water started to boil, I covered the pot and cooked for ten minutes. Next I cut the cabbage in half then in half again. After ten minutes I released the pressure and the cover and placed the cabbage on top of the veggies and cooked for fifteen more minutes . . . DONE ! Very, very, tasty! CIAO, AP

Looks yummy. Most supermarkets sell corned beef at lower prices during St. Patrick's Day. One of my favorite sandwiches, at my local delicatessen, is corned beef on rye, or sourdough bread. With a quarter slice of a dill pickle.

It appears that Tom Brady will have to acquire new fans in Tampa Bay. Based on the comments on this post. Tampa Bay will now get excellent TV ratings now. We all know why?

I usually buy 2 packages of toilet paper with 4 rolls per package. When I get down to 1 or 2 rolls, I go to Walmart, or a Dollar Store, and buy 2 more packages. I have 3 rolls left. And, I am hoping I can get at least get two more packages. Some stores are only letting seniors, age 60 and up, to get an opening store privilege, for one hour, to prevent the hoarders from cleaning out the store upon opening. Seniors, who aren't greedy, have had to do without, because of the hoarders.

I was hoping he would announce his retirement. He's had a good run.

Joe Montana of the 49ers didn't retire, and went to the KC Chiefs. Some thought he would lead KC to the Superbowl. He did not. Montana retired, knowing his winning Superbowl days were over. Jarrett Stidham will be the replacement quarterback for the Patriots.

You can't win over what happens when we age. Could he do it one more time? Maybe, but he will decline. They're taking an expensive gamble. At least George Blanda (retired at age 48) could kick field goals to extend his career.

George Blanca, of the Oakland Raiders. All old timers remember him. Sonny Jurgenson of the Redskins too. With his pot belly. But, still effective.

Tom Brady has agreed to play for Tampa Bay. An NFC team. Don't know if they offered a long term contract. But, it appears to be $30 million annually. QB Jameis Winston (Mr. Interception), will be released, to make room for Brady. Tom Brady only had one offer. Tampa Bay. Phillip Rivers, age 38, agreed to a one year contract to play for the Indianapolis Colts.

According to the article I read the guy had 17,700 bottles of sanitizer. It had a picture of him in his driveway with the garage door up and packed solid with a bunch stacked on the driveway also. His sales ended because Amazon canceled his seller's account for gouging.
Just about an hour ago a little filler article in the on-line news said he "donated" it all. Probably after a gentle "suggestion" by a Good Ol' Boy Sheriff or Police Chief.
I'm from Western Kentucky and those Ol' Boys can be very convincing. Probably had the local Preachers "mentioning" that boy in the Sunday Sermon. Next Sunday he will be praised for his "generosity" in donating it.

I must have misread the article. Anyway, I think he learned a hoarding lesson. Glad he donated.

I came across a super deal at the flea market. A sigma 150-500 with a Sony A350 for $300.00 is this a good set for wildlife?. The guy called the lens Sigmamonster the lens is huge. My question to the experts here is which camera will better with this lens. It will be nice to hear from any DSLR owners.

That camera was when Sony made DSLRs that was a crop sensor. In A-Mount. I first saw that camera at a Sears Store a decade or so ago. 14 megapixels was a lot back then.. I don't know much about the Sigma 150-500mm lens. But, a very popular lens for wildlife, is the Nikon 200-500mm. And, according to some uhh members, it works great on a Nikon crop sensor D500. Sony discontinued DSLRs and decided to go to the Translucent Mirror type cameras, A-Mount, and later the E-Mount mirrorless cameras.

That's an early movie photo of John Wayne. His Hollywood nickname was the Duke. My late mother told me that. Unfortunately, I don't have the proper glasses to view it. Very good photo though.

Tom was at the end of his contract. I'm guessing that Coach Bill Belichick convinced owner Mr. Kraft that renewing a long term contract, on a declining 42 year old wasn't worth it. Tom played for the Patriots for 20 years. Coach Belichick, can draft a new quarterback in next month's college draft. Or, go for a veteran quarterback, through a trade? Tom got Jimmy G of the 49ers traded from New England. And Belichick was not happy about that.
