Hey Hoggers stilll decideing on a low cost photo editor for simple edits. organizing and sharing. Don't want Lightroom or Photoshop and Google Photos suck. I was happy with Picasa. Looking at ACDSEE looks promising. Anyone have an opinion on it? Thanks

Tokina 100mm macro

Hey Hoggers still looking at macros and ran across a side to side comparison of the Nikon 105 and Tamron 90 by The True Toad. Anyone know who he is? Is he creditable? He pretty much raves about the Tamron over the Nikon. I want the option of Vr on or off so the Tokina is out. So guess I better take a hard look at the Tamron??

Yea that's what I'm hearing about most macro lenses. Awhile back I tried out my friends Sigma 105. Not only was it slow it focus hunted like crazy. I plan to use manual focus anyway so should not be an issue

Nikon 70-200mm

Thanks everyone for the advice. I found a "like new" 70-200 f/4 for $675 at MPB. I have used them several times with excellent results so I'll probably pull the trigger on it. All my research tells me the price is right. What do you guys think?
