Remember when an attendant would come to the car door? For my car, I asked "would you check the gas and fill the oil please?"
Donna, that is amazing, to include your technique. As winter weather approaches, I'm beginning to experiment with macro photography, especially using laser pointers and sending them through crystal objects.
I just keep reminding myself: If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
I am so glad to hear that Bob. Thanks.

Thank you Ken. Had she not followed through,I would definitely purchased it from you.
I hope our paths can cross yet again.
Bill
Order filled, and I thank a fellow UHH member for that.
Thank you Ken for your offer. The first person who offered me one is the person I bought it from. A teacher here, who lives by my code of fairness.
And I've ordered protective glasses for the range of laser light. I've always wanted to experiment with macro photography via laser light through gems.
By very very carefully aiming. These three are so very fine aimed. But thank you for asking.
I like how you say that you serve-up the most Canon propaganda on this site. Well, move over. While I do not post nearly as much as you do (my teaching gets in the way, said tongue in cheek for I love teaching), I check in this board every single day. And ever since the Canon 20D, I have been a very loyal member of the Pro-Canon Club. And thank for your feedback.
Now this is going to make me sound like a total snob. I save long and hard, and so far I have three L lenses, which completes my wishes. The Macro would be more hobby used. At the current time, I have a Canon Compact-Macro 50mm. I'm passing three lasers through a gem to see what I can create. More for my usage than the classroom. I have found, in the past, that the L series creates a much sharper image than a non-L. And that is the only reason why I'm looking for a gently used L macro.
Point taken, thank you. I'm wanting to do some 1:1 captures, so I'm suspecting that the 100 mm 2.8 would serve my needs. I'm wanting to capture images I can use in my classroom teaching. I would be using this with my 5DII.
I am looking for exactly that, a Canon L Series Macro lens.
If you have one in ideal condition, sitting in a box or lens case, and don't use it anymore, let me know what you would be asking.
Thanks guys and gals,
Always keep in mind that our eye has an extremely wide range of sensitivity to light. It is a trillion to one ratio. No camera can capture that ratio. This is a driving reason to do post processing to extend the dynamic rage of your image capture.
That said, I also believe that if you are very happy with the image you see up on your computer, then you should do nothing further with it.
Kcooke, perhaps your 'thanks' so go to PhotoshopCC. Don't get me wrong. I purchased my first Photoshop back in 2005, but when the closed me out a year ago or so, that was that.
Have you thought of Affinity Photo? I have, and very happy about it too.
