Yes sir, nothing short of magnificent, the perfect capture!
Superb shot, magnificent image!
S'funny, no one has mentioned the Tamron 10 - 24 mm f3.5 - f4.5 wide angle zoom, which I purchased two years ago for my crop sensor Canon cameras and am pleased with its performance.
And besides that, great composition! How often are you able to capture two independently moving divers at the same time surrounded by such complementary scenery, all well exposed in good focus?
Marvelous shot, terrific timing and capture with great depth of field!
Well done, you captured it all - expression, mood, exposure, focus and composition!
jwm1944; There's only one word to describe - SUPERB! You captured it all technically and mostly set a marvelous mood!
Well done, I'd like to know what equipment and settings you used, so I might possibly benefit in my own shooting.
Hey, I like 'em all, especially with the composition of #1 and #3 where the background, without being imposing, gives you a perspective on how harrowing the action of that flight. Good work!
oisin59, I agree with your simple, objective logic. I've been in serious photography ever since I had my own darkroom at the age of ten, and I've never lost my enthusiasm to learn from other people's experience, so when I see an eye-catching photo, I'm anxious to learn how it was achieved for my own benefit. Yes, the brand of tripod and head are secondary to the camera, lens and settings, but most important is the photographer's understanding of the effect of the settings of those factors on what is desired of the outcome.
Camerapapi's commentary is right on. It's getting so that one can hardly believe what is seen and heard, let alone the exaggerations and out of context quips that are printed nowadays. Oh for a grain of salt!
Great shot; well composed with good exposure, focus and bokah. Capturing a bird, then it must have been hand-held!
Besides a lovely pose, it is masterful lighting alright, so I'd like to know what equipment and settings you used.
Hey, terrific shots under less than ideal lighting, so for or benefit, can you tell us what equipment and settings you used. I sure would like to know the year and make of those beauties! Thanks much for the show!
Complements on a high resolution image, but so I can benefit from your knowledge, tell me the particulars, like camera, lens setting, aperture, shutter and ISO. Thanks, G. K.
