Exactly!!!!! In my opinion people who abuse have no business being on this planet—

funny , but we never mention the guilty party that did that to that horse , 100 lashes in my world would take care of that .

I do PP on every photo that doesn’t make it to the cull bin. It’s how I make my own artist mark in my images. Even back in the day Ansel Adams was dodging and burning :)

To each artist, no matter the technique, composition and technique come first, in my opinion. :)

I think it is a very good portrait. Personally i would like a little less processing but being as i dont do that yet my opinion isnt worth much.

Well, that’s awesome that you keep them! many racehorses are sent to slaughter after they are no longer of use—

And that's the Dirty Little Secret of the racehorse business, isn't it ???

Thank you for bringing this up, indigo - - I wasn't going to say anything to mess up your post, but I'm really glad that you, as the OP, know about this, and have said so.

I wonder if more people realized, if more people knew, if they would be so enamored of racing and support the "sport" as eagerly.

Kudos to trackmag, but they are an anomaly...

Yes— I know all about this subject. I have been an animal advocate all of my adult life.. there are many, many dirty little “secrets” re: horse racing, greyhound racing, factory farming, etc., that these industries are desperate to not reveal to the public.

It is my strong belief that anytime a person or business uses animals for profit, there will be inherent abuse. Very sad and tragic for the animals—

You have a very nice capture of a great looking horse.
Could we see a little sample of your painting artwork?
I too am an advocate for animals. I give a monthly donation to the Humane International Society.
They have been doing amazing work in getting dog meat farms shut down in S. Korea.
They bring the animals back to Canada to get them needed vet care and when they are ready they will find them forever homes.

will
