Three were taken in the evening from Marazion, overlooking the little harbour on the tidal island of St.Michael's Mount and one across the old harbour in nearby Newlyn.
I had read about this Carrier during the time the USS Gerald R. Ford was under completion. Both of these Aircraft Carriers are well advanced compared to the previous generations. The HMS Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier is beautiful. President Trump will see that Carrier during his UK visit next month.

First I would be more concerned about the crew than the money. Second if like our American navy these carriers have state of the art protection and are surrounded by their task force.
I think that the ship cost so much, that they couldn't afford any aircraft for it!
This is one of two built, I think the other one is called the Prince of Wales.
But as I understand it, the Prince of Wales is going to be mothballed until it's needed - which is hopefully never!
This is Britain, the only protection the crew on this are likely to get is sun cream protection - and they'll probably have to pay for that out of their own pockets!

Interesting contrasts of new and old.
That's what I was trying to achieve, but I don't think that I properly 'nailed it'.
But it was getting dark - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Impressive looking vessel and images.

I believe it’s equipped with the latest incoming targeting equipment!
