Reprocessed the original AVI with Autostakkert2 selecting 30% of 9,000 frames. Moved into Registax6 to adjust wavelets and sharpness.
Resized in Photoshop and noise removed with Photoshop Gausian blur.
All in all, I like this shot.

Very nice! Hoping to give Jupiter a try tonight. I have a 12” Skywatcher Newt that I’m going to try out.

I'd take it! But then again I'd take any of your Jupiter images...

Thank you very much Brian.
I feel this is better than most of my Jupiter shots.
You should be able to kill it with your dark skies.
I shot this in my bortle 8 backyard managing to image before that nasty big nightlight cleared the mountain tops.

Dark skies aren't as important for planets as stable skies...

I have to give you that one.
I hope tonight’s weather behaves and the winds aloft stay at bay.
We had rain last night and the sky is pretty clear.
Crossing my fingers for me and Ed.

Very nicely done Jim. I'm off to the mountain Saturday night and see if I can get out from under the Marine layer.

Thank you Craig.
I’ll be thinking about you while I try to image the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
This is our headline band for the kickoff to Summerfest. I have to work until 7 but should be able to image the band before them and the headliner. Going to be a long Saturday night.
