I don't know what is going on, but things seem to be all screwed up here... My digest doesn't contain most of the sections I subscribe to, but does contain a bunch (like the gallery) which I don't want. I checked my profile, and that is all as it was before. The site is making me log in every time I want to reply to a message, which I never had to before... I can't access the digest online once logged in...

Anyone know what is up?

The only account with administration and operational control of the website operations is ADMIN. If you're serious in your concerns and questions, you should PM to account ADMIN directly.

I am on the digest more than once a day and have not experienced any of the problems that you have outlined. I’ll be interested in reading when the computer guys start weighing in.

I'm on the site numerous times everyday. Everything functions normally - no changes. As another has suggested, contact ADMIN.

If my IPad is inadvertently set on "Private", the top becomes black, and I experience the kind of problems that you describe. Maybe a setting on your device is causing the problem.

If you are using Windows 10, the problem could be a corrupted file and you need to turn off your automatic updates or turn off you computer and it may be ok on starting over again in order to have a complete update.....or you can delete the last update. Larry

Kind of a pain, as you may have to re-enter passwords and user names for all of your web page visits, but if you start your browser up, then go to tools, and then Privacy/Security. Delete your cookies, and clear your history. Next time you log in, it should either ask you if you want to remember the password/user name, or just automatically remember it. Hopefully that fixes your problem, but no guarantees! Good luck!

I have had this happen to me... so, I feel your pain! Make sure you are signed in to UHH. You can see that status in the header of the main page. If you are not logged in, you will see a whole list of topics, not just the ones you are subscribed to. Once you get logged in, your normal list should present itself. Good luck!

No problems here.
But I haven't gone in through the "Digest" since the day after I joined.
I sign in direct to the site and have the sections I am interested in on my subscribe list.
The digest doesn't even show everything on any single subject. It is just some picked by admin (a bot?) to feature as a teaser.

So, he is not allowed to see if other members are experiencing issues??

This seems to have done the trick... Don't know what in my web history would have that effect, but something was. Just cleared that, rebooted, and Robert is your father's brother! Passwords aren't a problem, as I use Roboform to store and apply those.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I have never looked at the digest until reading this thread. Although I am logged in to the site it asks for a name and email before proceeding.

Based on what you are describing, I think your browser is automatically clearing cookies. Either because of incognito mode or because of privacy settings. So every time you return, the forum has no way of knowing you are you. And so you see the default sections for guest visitors until you explicitly log in.
