The first two are about 3 yr. old, and the last one about 1 1/2 yr. I was using my Nikon D60 at that time but have recently (6 mo. ago) purchased the Nikon D7000. What a camera!!! I'll post some from it later on.

All three are fantastic photos. #2 may be one of the best sunsets I've seen. # 3 looks like a still from the movie with great color. # 1 you got the perfect look on the water, not too foamy and not too clear...just right. I agree with another reply that the sky is a little washed out. Hope you don't mind the edit. Did nothing but a little gradient tool on the sky.

Hi, and welcome. I love the sunset. The sun's reflections on the beach are spectabular. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to take both a vertical and a horizontal shot. The avatar pic is also very nice...unique with the subject having a "fun" expression. The first shot would have been a bit better at a different time of day when sunlight was hitting the falls. The shadowing washes out the sky. Just my opinions, for what they're worth. Keep at it and good luck.

Hey haze99, you won't need a back-up camera, if you by a Canon. I have had 4 of them in 40 years, and never had a break down. I have over 10 thousand slides from film, and 15 thousand digital pics.. Just having some fun, Nikon is a great camera also..

Any professional photographer will tell you that you need a backup camera period. Actually the'll tell you that you need a backup of everything in your arsenal. I personally know Canon photogs who would never go to a gig without a backup camera. It's just a smart thing to do. ya know?

I've heard that saying before "Dont go all prima donna on us" What does that mean in laymen terms?
