In English (and American) grammar books it defines twelve tenses.
However, there is a thirteenth that you must all be aware of, it's called the 'future indefinite'.

Very simple to demonstrate.

Darling, how much longer will you be?
Five minutes. <- here
You said that ten minutes ago!

The Welsh also have a 'magic future' tense... Where most of us would say "I'll be there in a minute...", The Welsh say "I'll be there now..."!

There is no such wording in the Hopi language to say " Bob is wearing a shirt " the wording would be " Bob Shirting ". I think it has something to do with the present and being in the Now....
