Beautiful image and DO NOT remove the boat as it adds interest to the shot rather than having just another cloud shot. I also don't see the horizon as a problem and doubt there are many people out there that would notice anything off by a whopping "1/2 degree". Give Costco a try for good quality metal prints at a reasonable price.

It you are personally pleased with it, display it proudly in your home--no matter what others might think.

The Judge in my first competition said to me "If you like it, that's all that really matters". Sound advice I've referred to ever since. Seems O.K. to me, just not the sort of thing I'd want on my wall.

It's a great photograph! The boat balances the photo nicely, exposure is perfect and light very dramatic. I would definitely print and hang this one.

I had a favorite image put onto glass ( I used Fracture). The work was fine and I don't think I'll do it again. I just seem to like frames. My suggestion is to have another photo put onto metal and see if you like the way it displays.

I don't think you should start second guessing your original vision. The horizon doesn't bother me, however when it is straightened, the removal of just a little of the top right and left dark dark could arguably be a compositional improvement.

Nice photo. A few thoughts on the composition. I would crop it slightly from the left vertically and from the bottom horizontally.

I like the appearance of the water and the dramatic clouds.

As lamiaceae pointed out, the horizon is off a tad and It jumped out at me. The photo is one I'd be proud to have taken and would be a standout on the wall with an appropriate darkwood frame.
Good job on the sharpness. The boat and birds are part of the story of an imminent rainstorm.
Thanks for sharing this great picture. Larry

HI, you have accidentally posted this in the wrong section, you might want to repost it in the correct Gallery section.

I would crop the bottom to remove the dark area, which would enlarged the boat for a more effective story.

When I first looked at the download on my tablet, the display cut off the top fifth (roughly) so that I had to scroll down to see the top edge of the photo. This accidental framing confirmed what my original reaction had been...that the shot was too top heavy with dark tones. Not seeing the darkest tones was more pleasing to me without diluting the dramatic contrast in the shot. This accident also allowed the beautiful and more subtle colors and tones of the water to play a larger and well deserved role. Beautiful shot in any case.

I agree with several others. It's beautiful and dramatic. Leave the boat where it is but try to straighten the horizon level. Its very minor but caught my eye right away. Congratulations for a very impressive piece.
