Nice shots. What lens/camera? I live in Sarasota (north west) and there are several nests in our neighborhood. One right next to US 41.

Thanks. I used a Canon 7dmkII with a 150-600 Sigma lens. I actually met a friend from up north and we took these shots on Blue Cyprus Lake in Vero Beach. We hired a pontoon boat for 3 hours and saw over 50 pair of osprey nesting. I would love to go back the middle of April after the chicks are born.

Two nests within a mile of home both have chicks.

Are they easy to photograph? I have some nests around me too (one in Walmart parking lot) but they are very high and I can't get great shots.

Not real easy from the ground because one is on a tall nest pole and the other is way up in a dead tree. That makes for a bad angle. I can usually get a good shot when one is coming in for a landing with a fish. Recently a Pileated woodpecker has hollowed out a home in the nest pole so I got a bonus shot Easter Sunday. D750, Tamron 150-600G2 @ 600mm, 1/2000 f/6.3 ISO 450 hand held & cropped.
