Thank you. I'm not able to get that level of sharpness throughout my pictures, yet.

No worries, you will if that's your goal. Otherwise --and I hope you aren't offended by what even I would consider unnecessary snarkiness-- Ha! If I'd have wanted you to see sharp, I'd have hauled out my 5" x 7" and spent twenty or thirty grand for a digital back!
I really don't think you could get anywhere near $30K improvement even with a Phase I and all it has to offer. Maybe my eye is not good enough but I like yours fine the way it is.

That is high praise, indeed. As weak or hackneyed as this may sound, I'm humbled. Namaste. But coming back down to reality, suffice it to say that cataract surgery a few years ago changed my way of seeing. (And having good insurance meant I could still afford the Phase I --whatever that is [I'm afraid to ask or even go look]-- too, maybe.)
How about to reveal your sensor size, lens (or at least your "Brownie" model?) kind of a filter used and whether the shot was taken hand held or from a tripod?
Did you use a view 8"x10"?
I think the light provided by the partly cloudy sky is excellent. Lucky you!
Thanks for sharing 143!

I already had, Paul, but it seems you missed yesterday's reply. So, to recap: 3:11 pm in December, so late-ish afternoon. FX (Nikon) sensor, NF, hand-held, 24mm. I wait for days like that, and sometimes I get lucky. Thanks for your interest and for looking!

Thank you Cany134 for the information!
I was almost sure, that you used a large format film view camera?
By the way, I think every Photo Gallery participant should include at least the basic tech. information, instead of having us to read their time consuming stories?
Because we are sharing here photographs, right?
Thanks again for displaying your successfull image!

One way or another, isn't enjoyment (in any of the manifold ways enjoyment can be found) what an image is really 'about'? Thank you!
Probably evening...sun coming from west.
