It might be great, lets us know how it works out.
Really it looks like a gadget, you buy it and try it, then it becomes a dust catcher.

Looks interesting but I wonder about it's ability to maintain tension over time. I would like to see a review by someone not connected to this product.

I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Look at those pictures, it looks like if you let go you could kiss your camera good-bye.

For me the lack of a quick release is a deal killer. I keep an L-bracket on my camera for use on my tripod head of choice. I would have to first remove that and then screw my camera to this device.

Thank you for posting. I ordered one. It should work perfectly with my panorama setup, which includes keeping the "L" bracket on my camera.

I bought one a long time ago and some screws fell out of it and now it's worthless, I need to fix it but....
I'm in the market for a used RRS ball head.

I want to fix mine, and mount it to an old frying skillet. For those really low shots.

Hey!, let me know how that works out. I have an old iron skillet, might just be too heavy.
