Has anyone been able to locate an eye shade for the Nikon p-900. I haven't. Sure would like one.

Amazon has a couple but I don't know how good they are. looks like mixed reviews. I looked a while
back as I was looking for one for my P900.

By eye shade, I assume you are looking for a viewfinder or articulating screen eye shade; not a lens hood. Correct?

I also ordered a Neewer Foldable LCD Optical Viewfinder S1(latest model seems to be S6) for use with the Nikon P900. It comes with sticky tape to glue to the LCD viewfinder and blocks out ambient light so you can see the LCD screen. It has 3.0 magnification mode, 1:1 Sunshade hood mode, and +/- 3 adjustable diopter. I cannot find my bill for it, but I think it was about $20 including shipping. Works OK but you will need a larger camera case when this is attached to the camera.

This looks like adapting one to fit is a viable option. I am pretty good at creating things, so I should be able to adapt one of these eyepieces to my camera. Thanks for the great tip.

Have an eyepiece on order. Like the velcro suggestion. that would make it easy to remove and store.
