I like your picture; however, I have a question: With all the ripples the bird is making in the water, how is the reflection of the bird static and clear? Usually calm water is required for reflections.

I'm thrilled you like it. I do too. I'm really not sure how the reflection is the way it is in the water. The bird may have taken a step and caused it right when I hit the shutter. Or, a small fish may have broken the surface. I'm not a pro photographer and I don't do post production work well. I can crop and lighten but that's about it. I think the only explanation is even a caveman like me can get lucky every once in a while. I appreciate you looking and commenting. Gary

Nice shot Gary, not too sure about waders on your side of the pond but I would have said it was a Wood Sandpiper.

Thank you very much. I tried looking for an exact identification and saw a couple look a likes. I sent the picture to a lady who works for the preserve and I'm waiting for her opinion. I'm not to good at ID'ing waders. Gary
