Like the Moon loves the sea
Pulling
Kneading her
Into undulant waves of beauty
Crashing upon the salted shore
We love
Like the sea loves the earth
Dancing
Rushing as he
Reaches for her mutable embrace
Soaking every parched crevice
Of his thirsting body
We love
Like the sun loves the sky
Dressing her with painted fire
Of periwinkle softness
Leaving art across her visage
As he descends into the sea
We love
And we bleed
Pulsing ink
So we write
