Going to spend a few days in Vegas soon, what's everyone's favorite thing to see/do? We are going to Hoover Dam, haven't been there since 2000.

Valley of Fire State Park is a pretty good place. It's about 50 miles NE of Vegas.

You can't drive across it now! I like the drive to Red Rocks then around to Howard Hughes former ranch.

I live in Las Vegas Van and I definitely recommend Valley of Fire. It's an amazing place to visit and photograph. Driving through Red Rock is a beautiful sight as well. I think it's about 10.00 to go through. Valley of Fire is free.

Even though it is a few hours away, Death Valley has lots of great photo ops. If you like comedy, go to see Carol Top.

Don't miss the tour at Hoover Dam that takes you down to the generators.
If it's still available it's not something to miss.

Red Rock park; the Lodge at Mt Charleston; Death Valley; "O", the garden and the fountains at the Bellagio; the Bachannal buffet at Caesar's Palace, Fremont Street and the Dam.
