I 'live on them' during the summer--I boil them, roast them, put them in soups & casseroles, make chutney & pickles with them, & sometimes just fry them in butter, with heaps of salt & pepper (not too healthy, but nice, lol). I can't give them away 'cos everyone else grows them, too. Most aren't intentionally grown--they 'just appear' every year, as if by magic, lol.
And I'm going to try growing them next summer, Earl. Glad you posted pictures of the plant. I'd never seen them growing before.
