My Mr. Squirrel picture has a problem. I cropped the original and made two copies of the copped version. The first version(pic 1) came out fine. The second one I cropped came out with a bright ban that runs through the picture just south of the center line. You can still see the squirrel it's just that this 1 inch ban is highlighted. Ruins the picture. I tried to post the fault to the UHH site but for some reason the fault dose not appear on this site, even on download. However the fault repeats every time I try to copy the image (the 2nd copy) on my copier. The 1st copy prints fine every time. D800 24-120 1/500 f11 120mm IS0 4,000 I know the ISO seems high but it worked. I drew in the two lines with the pencil tool, the ban on the photo is very uniform. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Why don't you scrap the second picture with the banding and re-crop again? Looks fine in your post.

I just don't see a band.
The band did not show when I sent the original inquiry so I drew the two lines to approximate where the band is. I'll just re-crop the original and delete the faulty image.

Probably an issue with the card that you will never see again.
What someone has to do is write a book will illustrations of all these anomalies and explain them.
Run the printer cleaning process and see if that helps.

I suspect this process has a bearing on your issue.
I would agree cleaning the printer should "clean up" the band.

I suspect the squirrel is involved in some type of conspiracy! He's obviously trying to hide something in his hands.
