In 10 days, I took about 350 shots; not all presentable. :)

Bet I had more unpresentable photos than you did!

Great capture.

I notice all the sheep are facing away from the sun. Probably for two reasons, it is warmer on their butts, and they are smart enough to know that staring into the sun isn't smart. Wonder what they were doing on the day of the eclipse.

What all the other sheep were doing: Milling around to look for a place to take their best pictures.

A very nice photo! Did you get a chance to watch the dogs work the sheep? It's pretty amazing what the handlers can get them to do.

Not only is it a terrific shot, Rhett, but I am amazed that you made all of the sheep face in the same direction. Pretty skillful that.

Yes, having been in the Army, I simply gave the loud command, "LEFT FACE!", and they, being docile creatures, complied.

Perhaps the different Rams have on their chests these chalk type pouches so when the ewe is impregnated they know which ram sired the offspring of a particular ewe. When the ram mounts a ewe he leaves his mark. I love all things, Irish. This is a great shot.

Plausible. I won't contest your theory since I know diddly about sheep. :)
