Hi Jeff... thanks for checking in and glad you enjoyed!! The weather has been so mild and the butterflies have been plenty this year... but waking up to a brisk 45 this morning, I'm sure they all left by now!
Hope the operation was a success!!

Super shots! Love #2 with the two different species in the same frame. What fun you must have had.

You caught some fantastic Flies (Butter that Is).
Thanks, Photogirl, for your visit and comment, glad you enjoyed..... I've been very lucky this year and the butter has been flowing like crazy... but this morning the temps are in the 40's, so I'm sure that was the last of them.

Outstanding group of butterfly shots Angela. And great DOF control with the blurred backgrounds.
Thank you kindly, Tom, for your visit and lovely comment... glad you enjoyed!! I'm thankful my yellow butterfly bush still has a few flowers and was just enough for the butterflies to have a snack before they leave.... and this morning it's in the low 40's, so I'm sure those were the last I'll see of them until next year.

They're beautiful, Angela!
Thanks so much, Sue... the temps have dropped over here, so I'm sure they're all gone by now....
Gorgeous butterflies, Angela! I can't believe how many you have in your yard, and they seem to love the yellow bush. I have a purple one, and it's half dead. I didn't get too many butters that I saw this year. I think I'll look into getting a yellow one. So pretty!
Have fun with the boys this week. You're so lucky to have them!

My pleasure to share, Ralph.... glad you enjoyed!!! Mother Nature is a bit confused, it's been so warm... I hope she doesn't get even with us in the winter!!
Ya jinxed us! I'm freezing this morning!
Gee whizbang! What a fabulous set! Consider framing them and displaying them at a local bank or business! I displayed photos at a local bank a few years ago and received positive comments from the community.
I have an artist friend who displayed two of her paintings in McDonalds!

Good morning, Jane and glad you enjoyed!! this was a record breaking year for me, I've never seen so many butters and maybe, just maybe, planting the milkweed had something to do with it!! I have seeds if you want... just send me your address!!
I have the purple butterfly bush as well and it seems the yellow is still has signs of life... I think I bought that a few years ago at Lowes for $3 on the clearance table!!
This morning the temps were in the low 40's... so I think these days are over... burrr!!!
Hope you get to enjoy the day!!
