Yes, but its more about keeping the old traditions going and a fund raiser for the local village, thanks for looking

Lovely horses. If you have Netflix, look at the Martin Clunes special in England, "Heavy Horsepower," about work horses today. In it he takes his two young Clydesdales to "Hoof Camp" for basic training in general farm work. (His driver's license was pulled, so he may use them to get around for awhile.) It also covers the Budweiser teams, French vineyard teams, and Belgian horses that pull rakes through the seashore to harvest clams. Parts of it are on You Tube (Google it).

Well, maybe. But then again, maybe not. John Deere actually made steel plows before they made other things like tractors, combines, and other implements. Before steel plows they had been cast iron and didn't scour, or polish the wear areas, very well and they were susceptible to breakage unless they were very heavy.

I just went down the rabbit hole and watched the four parts on U-tube. Although the sound was a bit choppy in places, the whole experience was worth spending about an hour in the rabbit hole of Heavy Horses. Well worth the view if horses are one of your "things". (Horses, especially the heavy breeds, and cats (black) are mine.
