Sounds like Soba has a case of buyers remorse. The bottom line is that Politicians in general say what you want to hear to get elected, then do what they want to do afterwards. I voted for Trump as the lesser of two evils. I have mixed feelings about his performance and actions, so far, but still think we are better off with him than Hildebeast. I trust her as far as I can throw her.

Don't agree with him, North Korea and Iran are lead by reprehensible people who threaten to kill as many people as possible. North Korea has nukes and is sending missiles over the country of Japan, Iran just got billions of dollars from Odumbo and will use that to finish their nuclear ambitions and heaven help us when that happens. Even now they use this money to kill as many innocents as possible with their ties to terrorism. The UN is a waste of money as far as I'm concerned, all those people do is use America as an ATM card and have not helped much in any problem nations like Iran and NK.

He didn't watch it all yet he has the audacity to critique it !!
I don't know who he is, but he has liberal written all over him.

Trump's speech was totally on point and got the approval of all countries except the few troubling ones.
The first result that came from it was to get NK cut off from financing and trade from all sources.
It can only get better than where we were under Obummer.

Rich, appeasement doesn't work, I think everyone would agree with that. What made Desert Storm such a success is that Bush 1 created a major consensus with many nations prior to initiating combat. Trump may have the right idea about standing up to Kim but his approach is terribly flawed. Trump's behavior will not and cannot create a consensus among our allies and going it alone, while likely successful, will cause us to lose our prestige and position as leader of the free world. Russia and China are covertly helping NK just to have Trump destroy NK. That would eliminate a rogue nation that is a problem for both Russia and China while making the US look like a bullying war monger nation. That's a "win win" for our strongest enemies. Trumps speech at the UN is the point of the article and most people realize that it was a colossal strategic error in judgment. The hypocrisy and arrogance of his posturing only further estranged us from our allies and emboldened our enemies. That's the real problem here.

Our enemies are emboldened by their need to control any part of the world that they can. That is what makes them enemies of the world, not what anyone says about them. So to claim that anyone's speech makes them bolder is absurd and comes directly from the liberal machine that can't see through their own hate.

You're free to your opinion but you have again totally missed the point. The hatred spews from your posts not mine.... and you do so pretty consistently. Think about what I said.... Bush 1 was successful because he built a coalition (remember, he's a Republican last time I checked). I also said Trump likely has the right idea. Does that sound like a liberal position to you?

However, I don't think Trump will able to develop a consensus because he has polarized our allies. Angela Merkel and Theresa May didn't even bother to meet with him at the UN because neither went; that's never happened before. Our Allies always meet with our President gives his first UN speech.

Get a clue, people who express opinions different than yours are not automatically wrong (much as you might like to believe it)... you may think you can dismiss them with an insult but you're only discrediting yourself when you do. Knee jerk reactions belie a lack of thoughtful reflection on the given topic.

No sir, it was you who missed it.
The writer stated that he didn't listen to the whole speech, but that didn't stop him from criticizing about what he didn't hear.
That is the liberal way of doing things.
They make shit up based on their imagined facts as opposed to what actually is.

I have to ask... how much s**t must you wade through before you decide it smells? He hit the key points. I believe his "turned it off" remark was metaphorical. He addressed the key senseless parts. Regardless, you sir took to an ad hominem attack without considering the points I made. I stand by my response to you.

It's only senseless to those of you who have no sense.

Lol - you are just too predictable. If you don't like the answer, you attack the messenger.

Open your mind bear, many of our allies are distancing themselves from us... you can't possibly believe that's a good thing. He's not just weakening us, he's DAMAGING our future. His speech was a disaster.

Bear, I understand your frustration with status quo... we share that. We just see different solutions. Trump may well have the right idea but his approach is killing his effectiveness. He may be right but he will have fewer and fewer allies who have his back. That's never a good thing.

No one is telling me this, I'm not depending on anyone's opinion. I can see it with my own eyes... and I really don't like what I'm seeing NOT that Hiliary would have been better... she would have been just as bad in other ways.

We didn't have any good choices....

Do you think he acted unilaterally to cut off funds and trade with NK ??
He got China, Japan and others to agree with the sanctions. Is that a result of allies turning away because he speaks the obvious ??
