Does anyone still use Adobe photoshop 5.5? It is an old version of photoshop that I've used for years, I'm very adapt at using and have been very satisfied with its operation. Windows 10 have turned it off, says it does not recognize. Have anyone else had this problem and can you recommend a fix?

Uninstall and reinstall. You may have to tell Adobe about that. I'm not sure. I think it's called Deauthorize, under Help.

Win10 is a pain in the arse, it causes many of the add ons we've been happily using, to stop working.
I've had all sorts of problems, not with adobe but others.

To my friends here using Windows 10, us Apple users experience the same problem when it comes to OS updates. I'm using PSCS5, along with Perfect Resize 8 and Photomatix Pro 5. My OS is already two generations "old", and I'm perfectly fine with that. I'm a big believer of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I totally enjoy living in a world of Apple, but OS updates in the Apple world are just as problematic as the PC world.

Software updates, to keep in line with OS changes, are not the responsibility of the OS provider, they're the responsibility of the software's provider. Companies like Adobe have ample notification from Apple and Microsoft to their changes and updates in their Operating Systems and they're the ones that need to fix the software if necessary.

Is it possible to add a second OS that you could switch to that would run it?

Steve, You've just posted the million dollar question. Is it possible, to add a second OS, on both a PC and a Mac?

I'll be watching here for answers.

I've done it on a Mac. I'll wait for PC experts to answer that question about PC's.

Steve, Which two do you have on your Mac? I have 10.9.5. How how is the weather there in Dallas?

I just know that I have the Mac OS that came with my Mac Pro and I bootstrapped Windows 10 onto it. I have the option at boot up of switching back to the Mac OS by holding down the option button.

Thank you. I knew we could have both a Mac OS and also a Windows OS too. I was just wondering if we could have two different Mac OS systems.

That's a good question for Apple. I don't know why not. The couple of times that I've talked to Apple support they've been excellent. Hopefully that doesn't end when the warranty runs out.

The only fix for windows 10 is to get rid of it. A garbage piece of spy ware.

Yet another totally misinformed snarky comment from you. Crawl back under your rock Cthahn.
