OH,MY! Kevin! you had to be down in that marsh/ flooded rice field and looking eye to eye with these. Who determines that they're harmless? because no one has died? I do know the lengths you will undertake for your photography and art. I've seen the images at the running of those huge steers in the mud, the volcanos and sulfur mines. I think this has to be the scariest of all! Was Europe too tame? Geez! One of my wishes would be to carry your gear and go the places you go. And then you get in the swamps with the snakes and I have to rethink this! Fantastic perspective, by the way!!

Thanks Carla, The edge of the rice paddy is narrow & slippery, I lost my balance & very nearly finished up in the mud with them (backwards) camera & all, in fact I really thought I was gone..maybe I do need you to help with camera bag...there was 2 snakes together look like having sex & they didn't like the idea of me being around, there was also a 3rd I spotted then it disappeared in the mud. I really enjoyed Europe but tame compared to this part of the world, my villa is on the edge of the jungle & theres always something lurking around looking for a feed. These rice paddy's are only a couple of hundred metre's from my home, so not far to go for a bit of action....Thanks for looking & comment....

Some of the best snake photos I've ever seen! Excellent focus, composition and sharpness. Love the one with the entire tongue sticking out and touching the water.
