Earlier this summer we took a mini road trip to our neighboring state of Ohio. While in the Port Clinton area we made a visit to the African Safari Wildlife Park. You drive your car through a portion of the area & can have your window open most of the time as one attempts to feed the animals. We had a few surprises & many laughs as we made some new friends! Please enjoy some of the smiles!

(9) "Surprise!" Since no luck on my side....he headed over to startle Betty. The white cup is a reflection from inside the car.

Thanks CindyHouk......for checking out our New Friends! We did have "a blast!" It was surprisingly very enjoyable as we didn't know just what to expect. It was hard trying to pick 10 shots to share on UHH because under these circumstances...."we all"....tend to take oodles of pictures. Thus many animals were not shared on this post. Glad you loved the Scottish Highlander.....one of my favorites also! Bob

Thank you Sylvias.....for enjoying the close up faces of our New Friends! And I can assure you.....they were very close up! Just glad one of them didn't manage to latch onto my camera! Funny thing....upon reading your comment my mind added a British accent to it. Received back to back comments from England.....interesting. Must have something to do with the time differences following my late night post.

Very good series Bob.
Thanks ebbote! Happy finding the time to share this fun summer moment in our lives. Bob
How much fun. I took three trips through The Wilds in Ohio. You don't drive your own car, you go an open vehicle. A lot of wild animals in different areas of the park. I know how much fun you had. I know I got to feed a giraffe.

You might have some Ancestors from England!
I love those shots, Bob. They certainly make me smile. I image there were a few tense moments with some of those guys.

Thank you Tikva.....for sharing your animal experience & recognizing how much "fun" something like this can be. I'm not familiar with "The Wilds", but will google it so I can be aware of it. Might want to do it also sometime. Sounds interesting! Since you mentioned giraffe.....perhaps I'll add one of my pictures of the one we encountered. Thanks again, Bob
You might say......this guy had his head in the clouds!
