Thanks Craig, no just imaging. I believe with video, your guiding doesn't have to be perfect.

I see, that's a real plus isn't it.

Absolutely...I knew planetary is a different monster, but since I can't do anything else, I figured what the heck.

Made another attempt at Saturn, this was a 40% stack of 3 minute video ~3000 frames. Maybe this is as good as it gets for my Sky???

Good news, my mount and RASA are back, all under warranty. What's with the clouds and humidity here, I feel like I'm back in Ohio.

That is a beautiful Saturn Brian!
You have such a knack for great Photography!

So glad to hear the equipment is back!
Should be better than new now!
Looking forward to your new posts once you're up and running again.

I stuck my G3 on the guide scope. Much better place for that thang. Still more to do, but my first light with it guiding was encouraging. Just waiting for dark to see if my 1/4 turn was worth the effort.
This weather is what I expected to happen. Having grown up in the SFV, I saw the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius under clouds , And a highly advertised Lunar Eclipse blocked by weather.
In fact, IF is has the potential of being spectacular, count on crap weather. That seems to be LA-LA Land for you.

Will you be home for "The Great American Solar Eclipse"? I will. Did some testing (agian!) today. I'm as ready as a sleeping dog.
Going lean and mean on it. Just the AVX, on Sun menu, D3300 on 'manual', Intervalometer ticking away. Tried a side mount with the camera, but didn't like it. So went back to simple.
In other words... Bah-Humbug!
But have two DVR's set to catch whatever the media poops forward. That should do it.

OK, telescope is set up, waiting for dark.
Hope you are getting to try your returned and fixed equipment out before the stupid onshore flow comes in.

Way too go Brian, great work.
