One just needs to pay attention to the cultures and governments that do not or did not allow both public and privet meetings that did not fit the current society- it was not that long ago they could not have Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in Russia.

If you have a problem with the tax code, take it up with congress. I'm sure they can figure out how to get more from you.

I'm glad you think that way. Praying in the same cafeteria should be devil worshippers and Muslims. Because...what's good for one religion should be good for all.

While I do agree with you and I wish we all knew what the plan is didn't the Democrats do the same thing.? Remember, just pass it and then we will see what's in it. What's even worse is that none of the people that passed it ever read it and you now see just what we got. WE do need affordable health care for everyone but the plan that president Obama put forth was doomed to fail from the start. While all I hear and read from the Democrats is why the Republicans haven't come up with a plan and it's a good question. My question is why haven't the Democrats come up with a plan on their own to save or correct Obama Care. Don't tell me because the Republicans control both houses because I can use the sane excuse that the Republicans didn't come up with a plan is because President Obama would surly have vetoed any bill that messed with his legacy. There's a bright light on the horizon and I know the man is a Democrat Representative from the state of Virginia, sorry I missed his name but I'm going to find out and follow him. If and when he runs for President he's got my vote. He appears to be one of the very few in DC that has the (all) American people in mind and is trying to work for our good. Maybe we could clone him and replace 95% of the people back there.

Taxpayers pay for the lights, heat, etc. in that school cafeteria. I resent it being used in that way. No, they don't have that right. If they are so prayerful, let their legs walk them to a church. They can pray there all they want. I feel churches should be taxed also.

Hi Donna, I do agree with most of what you say. I think holdings, businesses and other money makers of all churches should be taxed. I do however think that the land that the church sits on should be tax exempt, as long as it's only a church. I'd be hard pressed if someone ask me to show them my God, I couldn't and many look at the world situation and ask if there is a God how can he/she let this happen? So I say each to their own. I judge no man or woman for what or for not what they believe.

Hope your well, haven't heard from you for a long time.

This is a question that seems to be bothering every one out side the Sennett and congress - I remember them saying"we have to pass this to know what is in it" the law and rules say they have to read it before voting on it - what good are rules if they don't follow them - screw the deadlines if we are going to get screwed by pushing this stuff through without proper consideration by knowing the context of it.

That is just the beginning of the story that has us really pissed. Hence the term 'Drain the swamp'.
It's way past time to clean house. Maybe by the time we're through there, the senate will get the idea to self eradicate the vermin.

No Ken, that's the problem with you and so many people in this country. You didn't hear what this man said and only because he's a Democrat you already don't like him. I was born with a big "R" on my back, always have been more aligned with the Republican party. I like many are sick and tired of the fighting like little brats that goes on in the name of politics in DC. If they can't work with each other at times, give and take, then maybe they don't belong back there at all. We're paying good money and for what and for how long can this go on? Maybe you could check with the BBC for info that was on their evening news 7/24/17 and listen to what was said. Then if you still feel the same then it's OK. Please listen to what he said about President Trump and what he says needs to be done, I'm
sure that there are Democrats that will most likely disagree with what he said.

I still owe you a cup of coffee and I have not forgotten. Sometimes I forget that this is a photography forum. Just had major eye surgery on my right eye and will see in about 6 months if it works. Looks so much better already, went from 20/100 to 20/50 in the first week. Thank goodness for being left eye dominate and for AF cameras. Hot and dry summer here. Hope you too enjoy all year and look forward to chatting with you from time to time. We may differ at times but always enjoy looking at both sides.

The main problem with any healthcare bill that congress comes up with is that if any part of it is managed by the government, it will be unConstitutional.
That is the whole objection the true conservatives have, and why they will not vote for any bill that does not make it fully controlled by the public sector.
Total repeal is the only option that all of them agree on. But the moderates will not vote on it without a replacement fearing retribution from their constituency.

Obama knew that once a gift has been given that creates dependency, it would be hard to take it away.
No different than SS and medicare.

The politicians have opened up a can of worms and the free loaders are all in! These are the same people who are on 2nd and 3rd generation of welfare. The people who really need our help, can't get it and the ones who are too lazy to work, milk the system for all it's worth! As I have said before, there is nothing in the constitution that guarantees anyone health care! If anyone thinks the debt can't get worse, wait till the politicians get their little back door deals with hospital corporations, medical industry and the like! Repeal OBC and get out of the health care business. If they can't solve the bickering in Washington, we need to vote them all out! The Rino's need to be the first to go in all parties!
