about 3 weeks back just before the major snow storm hit, someone dumped a gray kitty off.
It took a few days before i was able to grab her-him and bring it in the house. Once picked up- i discovered it as not a "Him" but a her and very PG.

Carried her into my office where i had it prep'd for her to stay. On the 9th, she delivered 5 solid gray kits the same color as she is.
They are growing like weeds- eyes are open and the bigger one is already playing with mom.
Here are just a few pictures i snapped of them.

Daddy was a tiger!

I love their subtle tiger stripes!

I had a female years ago who appeared to be solid black with a few white hairs under her chin. But when she parked herself in a warm sunny spot, you could see her tiger stripes

Thank you for being such a good foster mom to this lovely lady and her litter!

Please keep us posted on their progress!

She reminds me of a cat I had which was half Siamese. She was a little darker in the ears, paws, tail and face. These are where the Siamese points are. Her mother was a blue point. So her underfur was the color of the mother's body color. They thought the father was a black Persian. Had her for 7 years until she got hit by a car.

awe i am sorry that you lost your pet. I have a siamese - chubby as they come.

once the kits are weaned and adopted - i will have mom fixed and kept as an indoor pet.
Shes not the friendliest but after what shes been thru, i can't blame her. It will take a while for her to calm down.

Did you name her?

Stormy comes to mind, seeing as she was dropped off right before that major snow storm!

I've known lots of cats, and I think their colors suggest their dispositions. Black ones tend to be outgoing and friendly and grey ones are more aloof. I had a very smart grey cat named Bat (because when he was a tiny kitten and I thought I'd lost him the first day, he turned out to be clinging to bricks inside the chimney) who, long story short, was savvy enough to remind me to give him his chemotherapy medication once when I forgot, shortly before his death. He found me in the house, tapped my foot, and led me to the cupboard where the odious pills were kept. He got them coated in butter, and I guess he needed his butter fix.

My best to this family of grey cats.

If I ever have a pet that I need to get rid of I will drop it on your door step. Very nice of you to take them in.

i have a tuxedo and shes sassy- and i have my cat that is shown in my deer photo and shes deep grey and white and no one wants to mess with her.
she had a vets appt. yesterday - they had to muzzle her and it took 2 vets to hold her down just to draw blood. she only weighs 8 lbs,but is she ever a feisty bugger.
each and everyone of them are so different, but we love them just the same.

I am still looking for the magnet thats drawing them here. This is the 2nd one someone dumped and as usual she was also PG. These people should not be allowed to own pets.
Their PG and their stressed after being dumped- Gray is/ was malnourished and losing her fur in the process. i feed her 5 cans of food a day to build her strength up and pray before long it grows back in.

Awwww!!! Thank you for taking her in and giving her and her precious babies a safe and warm home. Best wishes to all of them for safe and happy lives. Wish I were there to hug and cuddle them; guess I'll ask you to do it for me.
