Windows 10 problem...Every time I try to open Ugly Hedgehog, I get this annoying popup window asking, "How do you want to open this?".
I want to open it with Internet Explorer on this computer. IE is the ONLY internet browser on this computer.
So I click on "Internet Explorer" , and on "Always use this app".
Then, the next time I try to open UHH, I have to through the same crap. This happens with ANY link, not just UHH.
I have another laptop, also with Windows 10, but using Microsoft EDGE, and I have the same problem.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
Go to settings, display options, default apps and set your default browser.
Please PM me a screenshot of what you see. I'll look into it.
But if it's happening on two different computers, then there might be some kind of proxy/scanner in your router or your internet provider's hardware that doesn't work correctly and messes up file types in transit. Which in turn could result in such dialog asking you what to do.
Also, you mentioned that it happens on UHH, and then that it happens with "any link".
Is it happening on UHH or on all sites you visit?
It happens on any link I click from Outlook, not just UHH. It doesn't seem to be a UHH problem, but a Windows 10 problem.
It could be an Outlook setting that's not looking for a specific browser. I don't use Outlook so I can't help you but someone else may pick this up.
