My best friend is interested in buying a Nikon d 750 ( I have one with 24-120 f4 lens and love it). He went to dpreview and that sent him to Amazon where he sees a d 750 body NEW with 3 new prime Nikon lenses ( 35, 50 and 85). It's being called the film makers kit and Comerce A, Z is the third party seller. They are selling this bundle NEW for $1200 plus $10 shipping. Seems like it has to be a scam as the body alone is more than that. Does anyone out there know anything about this deal or about Comerce A ,Z ?? Advice please

Don't do it. The body alone is worth 1800. If it looks too good to be true. It is.

First of all, if something is too good to be true is generally is. I can say with confident that's it a scam. If you want to really find out call the seller. Ask if you can buy it in person.

Comerce A, Z is listed as 'just launched' with no feedback. I would run away as fast as you can.
Scams like this pop up on Amazon with high dollar items, cameras, lenses, etc. all the time.
A lot of them say something like 'contact me at ---phone number--- before ordering' and the price is way to low to be real.

Anybody (even you) can sell on Amazon. And clearly they don't do a very good job of checking out who sells using their services. In this case the presumed sanction of the Amazon name is of no value.

Amazon appears simply to have become a "lesser" CraigsList. You're on your own here!

Wouldn't touch this deal with a 10' pole. Run just don't walk away.

Amazon,in the fine print, tells us that essentially they sell advertising space to vendors and they do not come under their "umbrella."

It is a scam. There are a TON of scams on Amazon. Especially when the seller is listed as new and provides an email address to "confirm stock" before ordering. You email them, they tell you its in stock, and send you a fake Amazon page where they ask you to pay with Apple gift cards. Total scam...

My grandfather used to tell me: "All a lock does is keep an honest person, honest." He also said: "If it exists, there is a person trying to exploit it."

My mother taught me, when I was very young "Son, if it's too good to be true, it usually isn't" Or course another wise man said "there is a sucker born every minute" and the guy in Brooklyn that has a bridge for sale cheap. Looks like you fall into the last two categories.

For benchmark best prices, the A,B,C's are to be remembered: Adorama,B&H,Cameta. I'm not saying that they are the only sources, but they are excellent indicators of legitimate pricing.

Yes, run in the other direction. I saw a couple of those ads. The price listed was far below the Nikon, Adorama, and B&H price, and much lower than the cost of a refurbished D750. None of them mentioned a USA warranty. They listed a one year "Store" warranty.

If only that were a legitimate offer! Google doesn't seem to know that seller. A quick look on Amazon didn't let me find it either.
