Hi..............My name is Bill. After living most of my adult life in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in up state NY, I now live in the flat lands of Florida. My dad was a professional photographer during the 1930's and 40's so I did sort of grow up in a studio. Back then it was strictly black and white and the only editing tool was the skill of the photographer. I have enjoyed taking pictures over the years but now am planning some photo safaris around the state. I love nature so tend to spend most of my energy attempting to capture mother nature at her best. Thanks for allowing me this opportunity to join your group!
Welcome: We are about the same age and not to old to learn and have a new adventure. I am 81 and still going, maybe not as strong as once was but still looking forward that next picture, hoping it will be the one in life time.

Welcome. You fit in with our crowd of mature photographers. Im 80 my self, and have had a camera in my hands since I was in my 30's. I own my own photography business and still active in it, by going out on remote shoots with my crew. It is a wonderful time to start a new interest. Unlike me who is in the business, but as experiencing a new hobby.
You are in a wonderful place in your life now, being in FLA will give you lots of opportunities to take lovely photos, as well as family and friends.
The good news is that, Digital cameras are so advanced and easy to take good photos. Ask us here to assist you in making the correct purchases. good luck Lee
Welcome Bill. You're in a great part of the state for photography. About the only things missing are snow and mountains!
