But it sure sounds like a great capability. Good luck with it Sonny.

Thanks Craig. We need some clear skies, darn it!
Yeah, if going mobile I can see your point. But one guy uses a portable WiFi and can go out with his. (I didn't know they had
portable WiFi routers)
He said he can set up, then sit in his car out of the cold and do his thing. (Um, I assumed he meant take pictures.
)
I'm mostly a home body. Most of what I liked to do isn't really viable anymore.
Why?
The EnviroMENTALists have
shut down almost all of the coastal waters to fishing. Can't surf fish.
I used to love to go fishing at
Lake Piru with our pontoon boat. The DFG can't stock it anymore. They raise the wrong kind of fish. So the CDFG can't stock the lake anymore. No fish.
I used to enjoy fishing at the Colorado River. The Bass were a lot of fun.
A Carp virus (Actually a Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) hit in Lake Mohave and it killed carp all the way to De Gulfo de California.
Not to mention certain undesirable charictures fishing from docks with 5-6
surf rods.
(Gee, I wonder where they came from?)
And the rotting carp carcasses killed off the other fish.
But so far, with exception of airplanes and satellites, I can find things in the night sky. And short of a dome over the town, I don't see anybody screwing that up.
So I hide out in my back yard by the fence, take some pictures, and hope the environmental Nazi's don't dream up a way to screw me out of that.
And that, Boys and Girls, is why this is Communist California.
Astro-Photographers take only pictures, and leave
no footprints.
But CYA...
(I now relinquish my soapbox and return you to our regularly programmed pablum....)
