My Letter to a Liberal

For several years I have been searching for a way to communicate with you. You have made it a priority for you to make it clear to me what you want and how you want it while my words seem to vaporize as soon as I say them.

I struggled to find a way for you to hear me. And each time I am told that I don’t communicate properly to you and it is my problem to figure out or I am free to leave. Any time I say something that you disapprove of, you come at me like a banshee and pound on my chest like a war drum.

Your version of communication is yelling into a bullhorn loud enough for your voice to cut through the billowing smoke and ash rising from the remnants of what is left of the bridge of communication that you set afire so the words of reason cannot reach you.

My rights amounted to making your values to be my values, and your causes to be my causes, and to resist would put me under penalty of law as a racist.

I thank God and the Patriot Founders of this country for their insight and long range thinking that gave us a tool called the Electoral College to help in keeping out or getting rid of tyrants who wish to force their views and values on us and transform our country into something it was never intended to be.

I am hereby proclaiming that the communication problem is being put back on you where it belongs. It is for you to either figure out how to communicate with me properly or you may choose to leave.

one thing I notice is that now the libs are making up stories and the cons are screaming FAKE!!!

it's almost symmetrical, but the cons haven't let go of the bitterness of the past eight years. They still seem angry, perhaps because, much like passing the ACA bill... they had to elect Trump to see who he is.

...funny, I saw a we-won, you-lost comment today.... petty,no? If he is everyone's president, we've either ALL won or lost to the same degree. I just don't understand the logic here.

The way I see it is, there is no way this country was going to survive another liberal president. Especially one who teaches that there aren't any consequences for what they do. Trump wasn't my first choice, or 2nd or even my 3rd for a candidate. But I would much rather deal with him having the 3 branches restored to their rightful tasks, than the alternative.

I agree... but you have to admit, the guy is a bit of a hail-mary on the part of our country. (as far as him restoring the integrity of any of the 3 branches)

It is up to each of the branches to keep the others in check. I am somewhat confident that this will happen as they seem to be more eager to keep their own held accountable than the other parties, which I can't begin to understand.

Of the 14 Republican candidates, Trump would have been my 15th choice. I understand that no one party should be in power for too long but Trump was just a bad choice. Even his inauguration speech was divisive in it's content and delivery. I never thought I'd say this but I look forward to the day when he's removed from office and Pence becomes President.
I'd rather have Pence, a man I disagree with on a multitude of issues than Trump who lacks integrity and has an ego that won't let anything go. The Office of President shouldn't be feuding with Saturday Night Live, Alec Baldwin or Madonna.
Bill Gates said that the three things he looks for in an employee is Integrity, Intelligence and Drive. Of the three, Trump only has two and that's just not good enough.

I do not think you have any idea as to why Hamilton and Madison advocated for the electoral college .... I suggest you read the Federalist Papers .... Hamilton and Madison referred to the electorate (you) as the MOB ... the Electorial College was designed so that YOU would not have a direct vote for either the President or Vice President .... please do not write with authority, about subjects that you have limited knowledge of ....

There was nothing about his speech that was divisive. If you believe that it was, you didn't listen to it and are regurgitating liberal garbage.

I studied Constitutional Law. So don't try preaching to me about how you think it is supposed to work.

What's not funny is that President Trump does want to be everyone's President but Saturdays march every where were the signs "not my president". In every election you have those that win and those that afterwards feel lost. You may not understand the logic but this country is and has been so divided because of the core difference between the two party's. President Trump wasn't in office yet and there was talk of impeachment and hopes that the Electoral College could be persuaded to change their votes, sure sounds like sore losers to me. The conservatives did not respond to the election or re-election of President Obama with civil disobedience as we have seen with this election. The picture is even bigger when you factor in the Liberal news media, they don't always report the news, lots of time they make their own. I can understand why Ms. Clinton was so upset at having lost the election, and she did, because all the pollsters had her at 270 before any state reported in and she believed it, so did I and so many others. As to your remark "much like passing the ACA bill", not one Republican voted for it and if Obama had been able to stay in office for four more years he could have watched it go up in smoke as it surely was going broke and now they the Democrats say that the Republican party owns it? Maybe we can all be better off with a new and more affordable health care system if the people would wait and see what the new President has to offer. If you remember and I'm sure you do, President Obama was reported to be a Constitutional Scholar and we all saw how well he didn't handle that, so I can see where many would be worried because President Trump is just a very successful businessman. This country has never been run like a business before and we are in uncharted waters, maybe we can all work for the same goal and hope we have smooth sailing.
