Thank God, huh? I think we were all getting pretty sick and tired of all of those stupid Super Moon shots (including one of mine) that just showed the moon and nothing else. Way too many. Please understand that I am not trying to be mean or insulting. It was just such an overload on this site. I just wish I could have placed mine against a background such as trees, like some were able to do. All I had were roof tops.

The night I was going to make a great shot with a Joshua tree foreground, it was overcast.

That sucks. Yeah, The roof tops would have been cool except that street lights were in the way and obscuring what I was wanting to do.

Moon shots do get repetitive, though I did like the one of the supermoon with the ISS visible in front of the moon.

I especially like photos that show me something I haven't seen before or show it in a new or creative way. (I've seen dozens of shots of the moon, of eagles, etc.)

I tried taking some shots of the supermoon earlier this week, only to learn my camera and lenses weren't up to the task. So it was a useful experiment even if there was nothing worth looking at.
