Not only has the format been radically changed, but why is it now triggering unwanted spam ads...? This time with high file content unwelcome Toyta spam..?
Clumsy, time wasting adolescent new software. It's deabatable whether we'll now remain members.

Gotta pay the bills, and ads do that. I am seeing it on every forum I belong to. Also a lot of these forums are part of a very large conglomeration. Seeking ad revenue is another way of boosting the bottom line.

Ah yes, of course. That's long been the way of it. Thank you for your response.
Look, before I slip quietly away let me explain why, just as a courtesy. After all, I've enjoyed my interaction here. It's been a good journey 'till now.
Honestly, I've no problem with reasonable ads. As you say, bills must be paid. But when the ads use large file sizes with moving, dancing, graphics it becomes burdensome for my aged iPad. Time is wasted. I've learned to be wary of loading needless applications just to suit the demands of advertising programmers.
And I've too much respect for photomedia imagery to bother using my smartphone to access photmedia forums.
However, if the majority of members acquiesces to the new format, I'll just quietly cease dipping into the site. Time is too precious, life is too short, and there are plenty of altenative sites and forums.
Cheers...

It's the American way, it's always about money, and it will never change. This site doesn't come free and must be paid for in some way. Would you rather write a check every month. I wonder how many would?

Learn to ignore the ads. At least this site isn't auto-playing video ads as some sites are now doing!

FOLKS......., we got a jumper!!!
Too late to do anything quietly, you've announced your jump!!!
The begging has already started.
Yes..., PLEASE STAY!!! You'll be so missed.
My discretion is just not at a level that yours is at, since I do 90% of my Hog viewing on my phone! What's the alternative..., sitting on my ass in a corner in my house all day surfing the web? First, to do that I have to be home.
Anyway, wherever you land, have a nice fall! Just land quietly!!!

It may be debatable if YOU remain a member, but don't presume to speak for anyone else. These format changes have been in effect for some time now and it seems that most have adjusted to them. I'm sorry if you have difficulty adapting to new things.

Please PM me a screenshot of what you see. I'll look into it. There should only be standard banner ads.
