Problem using this forum

I opened a post this morning on the general photo section and got an immediate add from supposedly Apple saying I have been selected for a free application download. Name of application was not given. There was a cancel choice, but did not work. At that point a web address at the top showed "red.trksrv.com". Only way I could get out of it was to hit the home button. Returning to the forum produces same result. The post where this started was the one about using old lenses on modern dslrs.
I am using an Apple Air tablet.
So far, access to a couple of other websites has not been affected.
Any ideas on what's going on? I am surprised the problem has not surfaced while composing this post.

Pop-up ads supply income to keep this forum running, and Admin doesn't like discussion of anything to prevent them from appearing. Just ignore them. It's good you noticed the phone web site URL.

On the other hand, I saw an ad here for a refurbished Dell Chromebook for $150, and I bought it. I love it!

Pop-adds are usually o.k. in that you can cancel them and continue using the forum, but this one freezes the screen, requiring me to leave the forum. I have since tried all of my regular websites with no problem.

I'd tell Admin about that. They don't want ads that interfere with the site.

I've been getting that type a little more. What I usually do is to close the browser, reopen, click in the link box and close the window with the offending pop up.
What your seeing is most likely not regular advertising from this website.
Could be malicious, too.

I still can't get rid of it. Also, it appears to be a changling - different web addresses appear as I click to delete. Right now I am on my Windows destop and the problem has not yet appeared.

Please PM me a screenshot of what you see, and I'll investigate. This shouldn't be happening.
