Good work
Loved them! It's not often you get to see a badger. I haven't seen one since I was a kid in England over 50 years ago.

Hello Sylvia
They actually love to get out early in the summer. Usually first appearing between 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Initially they will just stick their heads out of various sett access holes and have a good sniff to check for threats. This year's tiny cubs are first to come out, followed by last years cubs and then the adults. The older animals are much more cautious.
I was late getting into position last night and was caught short as the cubs appreared before I was fully set up. Still had a UV filter in place and had not set up my flash so I just had to go with what I had as any movement at all would cause them to scatter.
Thanks for looking and for commenting and awarding the thumbup, always appreciated. Glad you enjoyed them.

Hello Jim
Nope. All that lay between them and me was a few feet and some stinging nettles :P But I was quite safe. Our badgers are only dangerous if cornered. In all other circumstances they will always run. They are expert at going unseen.
Really glad that you enjoyed them. Thanks for looking and for commenting, always appreciated.
