You just can't beat that early morning light Linda and with temps like that, early morning is the only option other than staying in. Great set I really like all of them!

Nice way to start the day. All are excellent but I really like the quail shot in particular. Is it humid as well as hot?

With those temperatures you'd be working under duress, for sure. Very nice set, especially like your quail capture because I know they don't just sit around for you. djt

Thank you, Carol! No, it's very dry in the central area of Washington state (rain shadow of the Cascades); I haven't felt humidity since my last visit to Maine more than 5 years ago :) I've lived in the Washington DC area...never want to feel that kind of humidity again!

Thank you, dj! That one was actually shot awhile ago, from the car, in drizzle, and zooming all the way :)

Get 'em while the getting's good. And cool. Love the swans, Linda. A gorgeous shot with that light. And I like the quail shot very much, too. Well done as always.

Keep cool!!!

Thank you, Randy! That one was at 6:15 a.m., which is still an hour after sunrise. I'm ready for autumn :)

(I know you meant to say pelicans - lol)

That is a blessing for sure. Here we have been in the upper 90s with humidity that make going outside a visit to a sauna!

The first image is by far my favorite but they are all very good. The color of the water is fantastic. I really like the Eagle pics, the ongoing story is wonderful.
