I have been using Snapfish for years for my photobooks and photogifts - I just love that place. Now it they have made a new website and kept the old website. Does anyone know if they are planning to eventually change it all over to the new website? Because I really don't want to take the time to learn the new one if I don't have to.

Tommi, I'm not a registered user of Snapfish, meaning that there are areas on their websites (Old, New, Canadian), that I cannot access. But if you've used them for photobooks and -gifts, you must be a registered user. Have you contacted them and asked what or why?
It may be that they're just revamping the website, and are leaving the software to make books, alone.

Ownership change is the reason the site has changed. HP has sold the site - it is my understanding that they sold it back to folks they bought it from...

I did get on the "live online chat" to ask, and the answer was (I believe) purposefully vague. They really did not answer my question directly but said, "our technicians are hard at work to make the site better.... blah blah blah"

I just received some 4X6 photos from Snapfish and they are very soft. Has anyone noticed a decrease in quality? If not, maybe my upload didn't go well.

Since you like their services, I think you should just bite the bullet and learn the newer system. If you change to another provider, you'll need to learn that system anyways.

Yes - their photos are terrible! I love the photo books and gifts but the regular photos are not good.
I don't get many hard copies because I put all my pictures in photobooks - but I would love to know where to get good quality pictures.
Anyone know???

I listen to a podcast that is very helpful. I just went and looked a comparison he did for different print labs. I see Snapfish didn't score well. I didn't check before using Snapfish because they made it so easy by keeping all the past orders. I will be switching for my next order.

Here is the link to the print test by Jim Harmer:

Just about every online service has included smartphone abilities. It has been said that is the most popular way to go. It's likely Snapfish made a change just for that reason.

I don't know if this helps you make a decision about Snapfish, but here is an article I found on the Business Insider:
