A young wolf pup was collared for tracking purposes in North East Oregon about 1- 1/2 years ago. It has been followed as it wandered down thru Oregon and into Northern California and back into Oregon where it is currently somewhere in the central part of the state. Its story reminded me of an animal I photographed a few years ago near Fort Klamath Oregon. I have never been sure if it was a Wolf or a Coyote. Need help on identifying this critter.
Could it be the English Wolf on vacation to Crater Lake from Florida?

Looks more like this young lady who stopped by our back yard to cool off in the shade on a hot summer's day here in Phoenix.

OMG! You know when people write: "LOL" you wonder if they really do. Well, after I saw this post, I actually did. I'm sure my co-workers are wondering what's up with him. :-D Cheers.

Not sure what "LOL" means but I do know what a 27 Ford flathead is. Do you have any Photo's?

LOL is the texting generations shorthand for Laugh Out Loud.

I do have one of my 27 Coupe, which is the first real "Project" that I bought. Here is what it looks like right now. Also, the second picture is what I am working on right now. It is a 47 Fordor that I bought and ended up blowing the engine. The engine I was going to put in the 27 is now in the 47 but all the work is not done yet, so it is not drivable. I have lots of other project cars that I own and now have figured out I will never get to in my lifetime so they are for sale. :-( Reality bites.... The engine I put in the 47 is one of the French Flatheads that were produced all the way through the 1980's. Google it, very interesting.

The first picture of the 27 was a PDF, so didn't load.

Its a real beauty! Never knew about the French flatheads. Is it like the flat head V-8 that came out in 1932 I think.

The French Flathead is kind of unique. It is made with better metal compounds, Beefier main caps, and one more really strange thing about them. The front part of the engine is like a 8BA where the distributer angles up, whereas the rear has the built in bell housing like the 59AB. There are some other minor differences. They weigh about 30 lbs more but don't have the casting problems of sand, flashing, etc. as the old ones. Cheers.
