Reference Books for PS Elements 12

I just acquired Photoshop Elements 12, and really need a good reference book on how to use it. I am aware that there are many tutorials online, of which I will peruse. However, if I'm in the middle of trying to do some editing, I would much prefer going to a book. I find it difficult to watch a tutorial, then flip back and forth to my work.

I was just wondering if someone has any recommendations?

If you are looking for a reference book, I would recommend Barbara Brundage’s Photoshop Elements 12: The Missing Manual. This book tells you where to locate tools and features in this program and how to use them. It is a manual (as the title implies).

If you are looking for a book of tutorials, I would recommend Kelby and Kloskowski's The Photoshop Elements 12 Book for Digital Photographers. This book teaches you image-organizing and image-editing skills on a step-by-step basis.

These two books are completely different "entities" but they complement each other. Brundage’s book gives the basics you need to follow Kelby’s tutorials.

Yes. Both Brundage and Kelby have been writing these books for a long time.

Amazon is currently out of The Missing Manual (paperback version) but you can find it at others sellers such as:

Thanks to everyone who sent their help. Ziza, I have decided to get both of the books you suggested. Picked up the one by Kelby & Kloskowski at B&N, and ordered the other, as it wasn't in stock at the store.
