When I used to live in WI, I would occassionally take a trip up north to go fishing on the WI River. This is a pic of one of the smallies I caught.
Below is a pic of me a few years ago with a smallie I caught on Crooked Creek here in north central Arkansas.

Makes me long for the coming spring and summer. 8-)
I can't wait to get out. When the dams quit generating, I'm going trout fishing. When the water warms up, I'm going smallie fishing.
Nice fish and it looks like a fun place to go fishing.

My son's roommate at Central Arkansas is now an engineer at the Russellville AE plant. The two of them fish largemouth bass tournaments at Lake Fork in Texas.
A few years ago my son entered the Celebrity tournament in a flimsy East Texas boat, but had to pay taxes on the $23,000 boat he won. He did get his picture taken with Randy White, former football great with the Cowboys.

My son took me fishing out of the White Buffalo dock (in that shallow boat, of course). I told my older brother that was the best fishing I had ever done. He said, "Yeah. i used to ride my bicycle out to the White river and fish there when we lived in Searcy." After all, he was my older brother.
