ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR TO YOU? LIKE MAYBE IT'S IN THE HEADLINES EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2014 IS A "HUGE" GET OUT THE VOTE YEAR

All in a day's work, according to Obama, who took advice and training from Saul Alinsky.

How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:

There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.

2) Poverty - Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income.

6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.

8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States?
ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR TO YOU? LIKE MAYBE IT'... (show quote)

You are so right
1)Healthcare-who needs it. let the poor die. (we won't have to worry about them)
2)Poverty- let the poor support the rich the top 1% has 40% of the wealth and the top 10% has 90% of the wealth we can do better then this.
3)Debt- lets lower the taxes on the top10% so the rest of the people can pay the debt. As we are winding down two decade long unfunded wars lets get into another with Iran this should help stay in debt
4)Gun control-Make sure everybody has a gun.
when you are shoot dead you don't have worry about it anymore
5)welfare- do away with it make everybody stand on their own, the sick, the elderly, children and handicapped. We should be like the spartans and leave them out in the wilderness for the wolfs.
6)Education-Let Texas decide what your kids should learn
7)Religion- freedom of religion as long as they believe what I do.screw those Muslims and atheists.
8)Class warfare-lets make a lot of racially and sexually insensitive remarks they're get used to it. We can push the trickle up economy? Lets go back to the 50's and bring back the Jim Crow laws and keep the wife barefoot and pregnant.
maybe we can bring back child labor or indentured labor. this should help with the class warfare question
Yes it is happening un the USA

You're mistaken...this is the place where the irrelevant old, white, bigots come to rant and rave about things that they have absolutely no hope of changing while they wait for their god to come and save them.

Hmm. Where are the broad themes mentioned by the OP? Where is "control of healthcare?" I don't see any mention of religion, let alone God. National debt? I don't see any mention of that. No mention of guns by Alinsky, he espouses ridicule as a weapon.

Or is this merely another effort to "stir the pot" with bogus, intellectually bankrupt, rabble-rousing assertions? This sounds too much like Glenn Beck, that towering intellect, preaching to the choir, complete with white board and bogus tears, just before a commercial for one of his personal enterprises.

How about some citations, source documents, etc? Primary sources, please, not some whack-job web site.

George H. I very much agree with you. What passes for discourse is actually knee-jerk attacks by the jackals on the right, and the truth is, several of these tactics in your quote are standard fare for the extremists on the right.

Go to the Main Photography Discussion area. This is General Chit-Chat. Basically an area playground for the mentally disturbed. It's why I spend a lot of time here. Welcome to UHH. It'll take a while to navigate all the different forums but I think you'll enjoy it. Just beware of General Chit-Chat. It's the inmates running the asylum. Where is my damn Napoleon uniform? It's time to get to work and I'm not dressed properly to lead the troops.

Interesting to note that Alinsky's real rules for radicals (not the made up nonsense from the OP, which appears nowhere in Alinsky's writings) would work just as wellfor the radical right and the tea party as they would for the left.

This sounds like any mantra delivered by corporatists and banksters. It is the same whether those in charge are right or left of center. The only difference is the route taken to get to the goal of control of the masses. It's a power thing more than a political philosophy thing. Both extremes use it. jmo

You mean to tell me that over 51% of the nation is on welfare! Why, I'll bet you get more welfare than most of the poor. You get a mortgage deduction? You get deductions for family?

You are a fool!

What does that mean Sarg? Somehow keeping your own earned income is welfare?

Personally I am for getting rid of all deductions in the individual income tax code other than the personal exemption, but please explain yourself, you throw out a red herring as if you made a definitive statement when you really said nothing of substance at all... How is keeping money that you earned welfare?
