I am going to the USA for a month from 01 May and I would love to photograph some Bald Eagles.

I am going to be based in Davenport outside of Orlando in Florida, however I am flying up to Newark NJ to see some family in Denville NJ just west of Newark, and I was wondering if anyone may know where I can drive out to get possible sightings for these magnificent birds either in Florida or North to central New Jersey area.

About 1hr southeast of Orlando is Winter Haven. On rt 540 between Winter Haven and Lakeland is the Circle Bar B wildlife preserve. Many andvaried birds including Bald Eagles, many types of Herons, Ibis, Egrets, Spoonbills, and Ospreys. Well worth the visit. Also on the same road is the Sheriffs Dept. As of last winter, between 25 and 100+ Eagles were gathering on their cell tower every evening. Quite a site,(it's tall so bring a large lens)

Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River. North west of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Great spot.

And on your NEXT trip to the states..... plan a trip to Alaska! Expensive, but nowhere else on earth like it. In Homer the eagles hang around the docks to steal scraps of fish when the boats return. They are everywhere. And from there you can take a float plane to Katmai National Park to photograph the grizzlies!

At Katmai NP

First time I've ever heard anyone outside my family mention my birthplace: Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River is a great place if your in the Baltimore / Philadelphia area, but, Alaska is saturated with Balde Eagles.

I think Alaska just might be the place. However, we do have a few down in South Louisiana.

Honeymoon Island Park in Dunedin Fla. two and half hours from Orlando has a nesting pair of bald eagles plus many bird photography opportunities. I had a great time there in March. I can give you directions if you would like.
